Chao enjoys spending time with his Eelhound, "Jiejie," above all else. He is extremely genial and caring. So, college...

Alright...so I'm not going to make this unnecessarily long, because the title says it all.
I attend college in DC! I love it, although I miss my friends and family back home. I am majoring in International Studies with a Chinese double major. I am loving my friends, classes, and professors there. I can tell it's going to be a great year (not for activity on DA, though). I might post photos I think are semi-artsy every now and then.

I always write a journal about how it's been so long...and then I don't do anything! What!?!?
Well, this time I've done something as well - I've posted some pics of my trip to China! The 5+ pics I added are all from the city of Beijing, the first stop on my trip. More pics will come in good time, from Xi'an, the cruise, and Shanghai (and others)!
I realize that it's been almost a year since my last journal entry, but in my defense my first semester was pretty hectic (3 AP classes and Honors Physics). To some of you that might seem easy, but I did not think so. This semester is a lot easier (2 AP, 1 Honors class, and Internship). Also, 1st semester I was focusing on college apps and now I'm focusing on Financial Aid and Scholarships, FML. So much more work! Speaking of work, I'm also in pursuit of a job. And seeing as art isn't my forte, I've been straying, but I'd still like to post some pics before I leave permanently (before college).
Also, no word yet from my top choices (College), but I really wish they'd get back to me.

And seeing as art isn't my forte, I've been straying, but I'd still like to post some pics before I leave permanently (before college).
Also, no word yet from my top choices (College), but I really wish they'd get back to me.
